Arjun had always loved science, but he had a strong aversion to public speaking. Whenever he had to present in class, his hands would shake, and his voice would become unsteady. Despite his knowledge, this aversion held him back from expressing his ideas confidently.
One day, his teacher announced a science exhibition where every student had to present their project. Arjun immediately felt anxious. His aversion to speaking in front of others made him consider skipping the event. However, he knew this was an important opportunity.
At home, Arjun tried practicing, but his aversion didn’t go away easily. Each time he imagined standing in front of a crowd, he felt nervous. His parents noticed his struggle and encouraged him to take small steps. They suggested he start by presenting in front of just a few family members.
Gradually, Arjun began to face his aversion. He practiced daily, first with his parents, then with a couple of friends. Although the fear was still there, it became more manageable. He realized that his aversion was not permanent; it could be reduced with effort.
On the day of the exhibition, Arjun felt nervous but determined. When his turn came, he took a deep breath and began speaking. To his surprise, he didn’t freeze. His practice helped him stay calm and focused. By the end of his presentation, he even received applause.
Arjun learned that aversion can be overcome with patience and practice. What once felt like an impossible barrier became a challenge he could handle. From that day forward, his aversion to public speaking slowly faded, opening new doors for him.
