During the annual cultural festival at Riverdale College, the campus was usually full of excitement and carefully planned events. Student volunteers organized performances, food stalls, and competitions. Everything normally ran smoothly because each group followed a clear schedule and set of rules.
However, one year something unexpected happened. The student committee responsible for coordinating the festival had a sudden disagreement just days before the event. Several members resigned, and important responsibilities were left unassigned. Without proper leadership, the planning process slowly began to collapse.
On the first day of the festival, the situation grew chaotic. Performers arrived but could not find the correct stage. Food vendors argued about their assigned spaces. Some competitions started late while others were canceled entirely. What was supposed to be an organized celebration slowly turned into an atmosphere close to anarchy.
Students began complaining that the campus felt disorganized and confusing. Without a clear plan, volunteers were making random decisions, which only increased the confusion. Many people said that if someone did not step forward soon, the festival would remain in complete anarchy.
Seeing the growing disorder, a senior student named Neha decided to act. She gathered the remaining volunteers and quickly divided responsibilities among them. Neha explained that if they continued without coordination, the festival would remain in anarchy and disappoint everyone.
Working together, the volunteers reorganized the event schedule and clearly assigned tasks. They guided performers to the correct stages and helped vendors set up their stalls properly. Gradually, the sense of anarchy began to fade as structure returned to the festival.
By the second day, the campus atmosphere had improved significantly. Events started on time, students enjoyed the performances, and visitors praised the lively environment.
Later, while reflecting on the experience, Neha told her team that the festival had taught them an important lesson. Even a joyful event can fall into anarchy when organization disappears. But with cooperation, leadership, and clear planning, order can always be restored.
