Riya had always been an ardent lover of books. Since childhood, she spent hours sitting by the window with a novel in her hands. While other children played outside, she explored distant worlds through stories.
As she grew older, her ardent interest in reading slowly turned into a dream. Riya wanted to become a writer someday. She admired famous authors and believed that stories could inspire people and change perspectives.
However, life in her small town was not easy for someone with such ambitions. Many people believed writing was only a hobby, not a serious career. Even some relatives told her to choose a safer profession. Still, Riya remained an ardent believer in her dream.
During college, she began writing short stories in her free time. At first, she was nervous to share them. But one day her professor noticed her notebook filled with pages of handwritten stories. After reading them, the professor said, “Your passion is clear. Only an ardent writer can describe emotions this way.”
Encouraged by these words, Riya decided to submit one of her stories to a national competition. Weeks passed without any news, and she started doubting herself. Yet her ardent determination kept her writing every day.
One morning, while checking her email, she saw a message from the competition organizers. Her story had won second prize. She could hardly believe it.
The news spread quickly in her town. People who once doubted her now praised her dedication. They began to see that her success was the result of her ardent passion for storytelling.
Riya realized something important that day. Talent matters, but an ardent commitment to one's dream matters even more. With renewed confidence, she continued writing, knowing that her journey had only just begun.
